Girl’s Girl is a satirical thriller about a friend group and their romantic secrets. We follow three girls- Corinna, Ella and Mia, and Mia’s boyfriend, Braydon, as they get ready for an engagement party. Corinna is a girl who has reputation for stealing her friend’s boyfriends. Ella is hesitant to ask Corinna about her behaviour- but soon reveals she has secrets of her own. Mia is enamoured with Braydon, romanticising his small actions to a fault. As secrets are revealed, the group fall into chaos- and Corinna pounces in, doing what she does best- catching Braydon alone.
Mia
Mia is kind-hearted, optimistic, and a little naïve. She trusts everyone in her life a little too much, even when they’ve betrayed her before. Braydon has cheated on Mia once prior- and yet she’s forgiven him, letting him make up for his behaviours. She believes the necklace he gives her is an apology necklace, a promise he will do better. When she discovers Ella and Braydon had a secret fling prior to their relationship, she feels betrayed by both of them- and insulted they would kept hat a secret from her for so long. Instead of ripping into Braydon, she blames Ella

Ella is curious about Corinna’s behaviours, and works up the courage to ask her about one of her scandals. She’s judgemental in nature but tries to hide it. She’s a brutally honest friend, but also has secrets of her own, that she tries to hide to keep her friendships at bay- and when they’re revealed, she tries everything to rectify it.
The scene provided follows Ella and Corinna getting ready together, and Ella has worked up the courage to ask Corinna about one of her most recent scandals- where she notices that parts of Corinna’s story don’t line up. She treads carefully, as she doesn’t want to come across as judging Corinna too harshly- but her curiosity motivates her.
